Lean Hogs -

Hog futures were a mixed affair, down 37 cents to up $1.42. February was the strongest. The CME lean hogs index is at $108.96, up $0.66.

Cattle futures were higher again today, up $.45 to $2.42. Feeder cattle were limit up all the way out to May 2015 as some grain producers are

Ag Market Commentary -

Corn futures settled 1/2 to 1 cent higher on Wednesday after hitting a five year low in the front month on Tuesday. Ethanol stocks in the weekly EIA

Cotton futures settled 54 to 79 points higher today. The US government resolved a decade-old WTO issue regarding a dispute with Brazil over cotton

Wheat futures were higher in Chicago, but mixed in KC today. In the small grains report published yesterday, the USDA put the 2014 wheat production

Soybeans -

Soybeans settled 3 1/2 to 4 1/4 higher.  The USDA hike to 44 bpa for last years yield is reinforcing ideas that this year is 48 or higher
